ALL students in the Houston School District are required to show two proofs of residency.
Students who fail to provide two proofs of residency will not be allowed to attend school
until proper documentation is presented.

Acceptable Proof of Residency
Filed Homestead Exemption Form Mortgage Documents or property deed Driver’s license Voter’s registration card Automobile registration Apartment or home lease agreement Utility bills showing physical address Other bills/government documents with physical address and name

Proofs of residency must show a physical address (no P.O. Boxes) and the name of the
student's legal guardian.

Students must also provide an up to date immunization record to attend school. You may
visit the State Department of Health web site for more information on vaccinations.
